Coton & Cambridge

The village of Coton is a peaceful and tranquil place surrounded by beautiful English countryside. St Peter's Church, dating back to the 12th century, is centrally situated on the village green and a large recreational ground can be found on the edge of the village.

Coton offers:

  • delightful public footpath walks from our front door
  • a pretty off-road tarmac cycle path into Cambridge city. There are also many dedicated cycle paths once you are in the city
  • a gastro pub, The Plough, serving food and drinks
  • a garden centre with a tea room, grocery store, gifts and a post office
Cambridge city centre is 5 minutes drive away, 20 minutes to cycle or approximately 50 minutes to walk. There are several Park and Ride bus facilities near by.

In the city there is much to see and do including punting on the Cam, city walks to view the historic university buildings, visit the Botanic Gardens, Fitzwilliam Museum, restaurants, theatres, cinemas, the Market Place and two shopping malls. It is easy to see why so many people fall in love with this stunning place.
